JULY 12TH SERVICE VIDEO
Since we are having the worship service in the park, we have no way to record it. But, we have recorded the sermon only and it will be available after 6 am on Saturday, July 11th. Click HERE to view it.
Thanks to everyone who remembered me with prayers, cards, calls, and visits during my recent hip surgery. I'm not running any races yet but am doing good. Blessings to all.

The July through September Portals of Prayer are now available to be picked up on the ledge below the bulletin board in the entry.
A pair of reading glasses has been found in a pew near the back of the church after the worship service this passed Sunday. Please contact the office to claim them.
This video will hopefully show you how the distribution will be done on Communion Sunday's. Although the participants in this video are not movie stars and said they will keep their day jobs, it does get the job done and we thank Pastor and Clem for doing it. If you have any questions, please call the church from 8-11:30, Mondays through Thursdays.

MASK POLICY CHANGE
Changes are inevitable. CDC has changed its recommendation on wearing a mask during church services. After reviewing the new CDC policy, the Elders of Trinity announce this change:
The wearing of a mask during the church services is recommended, not mandatory. It is up to each member to make up their own mind if they want to wear a mask.
Social distancing will still be observed.
Lutheran Island Camp Quilt Auction
The quilt auction will still be taking place this year. As our largest fundraiser of the year it will be an important event in a time of challenge and change. We are currently accepting donations of quilts, baby quilts, and silent auction items. These items can be dropped off at the office. Please call ahead and we will be sure there is someone available to meet you in the parking lot. 218-583-2905.
The quilt auction will look at bit different this year. Due to the social distancing requirements we will be moving half of the donated items to an online auction format. Bidding will take place during the week before our traditional August 1, 2020 live auction, ending on that Saturday. We hope to be able to plan a smaller live event for the fall. We are asking that donations be received by June 30th as we work to ensure the best experience and opportunity for both the online and live events.

When enough shoes are gathered by LIC, they will be blessed with $10,000 to support their Campership fund and for special projects at Christ Serve Ranch. Gather shoes of any kind (except flip flops), make sure they are tied or rubber banded together (they must be in pairs), and drop them off at Trinity. There will be a tote in the coat room for them.
